I've created the title Webosoof, because it's my niche market so to speak. I'm constantly thinking about the internet as the new alphabet, the new printing press, the new radio, the new television, the new information medium englobing every the o...

It came to me last night: Twitter is changing search. Ok, everybody knows by now ? Yep, but the magnitude by which it's happening doesn't depend on Twitter itself and is by now irreversible. Google isn't actual anymore, because Google doesn't ge...

The web moves to the next level...

Ning.com proves the capability of the web to build a new layer to his own infrastructure.

I call these innovations we are seeing netware:

almost everything you used to install programs for is now web-based available...

Even desktops are ! [see http://desktoptwo.com]

All you need is a multimediacomputer with a standard webbrowser installed on it...

"Well written opinions by disinterested experts will always be valued." (Dave Levy, Are blogs losing their infuence?- http://cli.gs/8X2avX )

In Are blogs losing their infuence? Dave Levy makes a remark about the device specific nature of microblogging as opposed to blogging, and I would have left this comment if I was enabled to do so: [a XML posti… Continue

A Cultural Law of Gravity

"Living as we do in such an unstable culture where anybody over thirty has to be astonished by how deeply and permanently the world has changed, it is hard for us to divorce fixity from questions of intelligence and imagination. But experiments and history suggest that a powerful stabilizing force exists and slowed the whole process of speech origins."

Quality information

I want to thank for the quality information that has been posted here. I'm not sure its the right place for it all, but it sure is quality information and quite decent writing.

I don't want this place to become a spam garden, so I'll monitor it a bit closer in the future.

You might consider creating your own ning platform, it's free and it's rarely easy to do so. Let's say it's just as if you where creating just another MSN or Facebook group.

Have a nice day !

Twictivists and Twictivism

In a comment on the blogarticle How Twitter Took on Facebook's Zuckerberg - and Won. - http://cli.gs/MNRXur ,
under the heading "The Power of the People", Pemo Theodore writes: "I was one of the Twictivists who spoke out on Facebook, Twitter & comments on other blogs. [...]"

I really like the term Twictivist and I believe Twictivism could become the way of the future in terms of engagement for getting policies changed.

Twitter has a democratic force that hasn't been discovered yet, but whi… Continue

Twitter...

I believe Twitter's success is the SMS styled messages people are accostumed too and the possibility to inform the world out there even faster than by radio.

Twitter is the first medium invented in the XXI century and is already conquering its place between email and blogging, IM and chat.

I believe it's here to stay...
