Are blogs losing their infuence? Dave Levy makes a remark about the device specific nature of microblogging as opposed to blogging, and I would have left this comment if I was enabled to do so: [a XML posti…

"Living as we do in such an unstable culture where anybody over thirty has to be astonished by how deeply and permanently the world has changed, it is hard for us to divorce fixity from questions of intelligence and imagination. But experiments and history suggest that a powerful stabilizing force exists and slowed the whole process of speech origins."

I want to thank for the quality information that has been posted here. I'm not sure its the right place for it all, but it sure is quality information and quite decent writing.
I don't want this place to become a spam garden, so I'll monitor it a bit closer in the future.
You might consider creating your own ning platform, it's free and it's rarely easy to do so. Let's say it's just as if you where creating just another MSN or Facebook group.
Have a nice day !

In a comment on the blogarticle How Twitter Took on Facebook's Zuckerberg - and Won. - http://cli.gs/MNRXur ,
under the heading "The Power of the People", Pemo Theodore writes: "I was one of the Twictivists who spoke out on Facebook, Twitter & comments on other blogs. [...]"
I really like the term Twictivist and I believe Twictivism could become the way of the future in terms of engagement for getting policies changed.
Twitter has a democratic force that hasn't been discovered yet, but whi…

I believe Twitter's success is the SMS styled messages people are accostumed too and the possibility to inform the world out there even faster than by radio.
Twitter is the first medium invented in the XXI century and is already conquering its place between email and blogging, IM and chat.
I believe it's here to stay...

“ Schrödinger and Heisenberg independently uncovered dual descriptions of particles and atoms. Later, the theories proved equivalent. Then in 1926 Heisenberg’s previous advisor, Max Born, discovered why no one had found a physical interpretation for Schrödinger’s wave function. They are not physical waves at all; rather the wave function includes all the possible states of a system. Before a measurement those states exist in superposition, wherein every possible outcome is described at the same…

Fact or fiction ?
It isn't as easy as it seems...
What laptop does Steve Ballmer use for his presentations?
Very nice posting ! it's a real discussion about what a fact is.
The only thing that appears to be certain is that there is in the picture like we see it an MacBook with a nice Microsoft sign in front of it.

I’ve just joined
http://dataportability.onconfluence.com/..
because dataportability makes a lot of sense for any early adopter of new social websites
Name, age, bio, favorite quote, favorite books, favorite TV programs, etc.
How many time do we still have to enter all this information ?
“It’s on the web already, so just copy and sync with it, please…” is a thought that crosses your mind at that moment.
Dataportability will assure us thi…

I'm generally not found at plugins, but I'm willing to make an exception for this extraordinary one.
It's only the second time ever, I'm blogging on a plugin.
I came across this marvel after reading an article
SEOnoobs.com.
The basic idea is reinforcement of the benefit of commenting upon a blog article:
"Comments are a wonderful thing to receive on your blog, adding the dofollow plugin is one way to rewar…

http://babl.nl has re-thought the twitter microblog concept and did put the emphasis on the discussion subject.
In less then 2 minutes, you can create your own open discussion.
I think so for http://webosophy.babl.nl
I do believe this simple idea to be a genious one.

My formula to define Tumblr is simple:
Twitter + Digg + Del.icio.us = Tumblr.com
Tumblr is a great posting platform, just the way Ning is a great social network platform.
Everything that has to do with posting messages of any kind you can image, you can do it on Tumblr.com
Just check it out yourself:

A quote
"Exaflood" stems from the term exabyte, or 1.074 billion gigabytes. Two exabytes equal the total volume of information generated in 1999. The Internet currently handles one exabyte of data every hour. This mushrooming amalgamation of data is pushing the Internet to its limits.
